I mentioned, in my 2014 wrap-up post, that I was going to do things a bit different this year. Last year I created my “bucket list” at the beginning of the year and while I think I did pretty darn good, life changed as the year progressed and so did my goals/”bucket list”. Therefore, this year I’m going to set three monthly goals. At the end of each month, I’ll update the progress on that month’s goals and set the next month’s goals. I’m only going to set three goals each month because that seems reasonable to me. But even though I’m only setting three goals per month, some are going to be large and will likely keep me very busy.
So, for January I’ll be doing the following:
- I want to average 10,000 steps per day for the entire month of January.
- I really, really need to finish unpacking from my trip to Belize but more importantly I need to find a solution for organizing my travel “stuff” (the stuff that I only use when I travel).
- January Declutter Calendar – This is a calendar available on Home Storage Solutions 101 that provides 15-minute tasks each day. In fact, they make a declutter calendar for every month. They also have 52 Organizing Challenges (something new every week). I think I’ll be spending a lot of time on this site during 2015.
Stay tuned for my update at the end of January and to see what I’ll do in February.
